Product Developer

We’re currently working on an exciting opportunity with a well-known fashion brand for an Associate Product Developer. This role is ideal for someone with a background in Product Development, Design who has a strong eye for trend, solid fabric knowledge, and a passion for product development.

This position supports the product lifecycle from concept through production and offers a highly collaborative environment working cross-functionally with Design, Tech Design, Merchandising, Buying, and overseas vendors. Candidates with a blend of Product Development and Design experience will be especially competitive.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Support product development from concept through final production
• Conduct trend and market research to help inform product direction
• Partner cross-functionally with Design, Tech Design, Merchandising, Buying, and vendors
• Assist with tech packs, WIP reports, cost sheets, and product documentation
• Coordinate approvals for colors, trims, washes, and materials
• Attend fittings, track samples, and help keep calendars on schedule
• Maintain accurate product information across internal systems
• Communicate daily with overseas vendors on specs, timelines, and quality

What They’re Looking For:

• 2–5 years of experience in Product Development, Merchandising, Buying, or Design
• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising, Product Development, or a related field
• Strong understanding of the apparel product development process
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and materials
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace
• Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop is a plus
• Experience working with overseas vendors is preferred
• PLM or product tracking system knowledge is a plus
