Role Overview
The Materials Planning & Sourcing organization optimizes material supply across the end-to-end supply chain. This team is seeking a collaborative, analytical professional to help advance a more responsive, flexible, and efficient materials planning ecosystem by strengthening people, processes, and technology.
The Responsive Material Planner supports both Apparel and Footwear businesses, with a primary focus on managing material excess, resolving lead-time exceptions, and communicating data-driven recommendations to mitigate supply risk. This role balances tactical execution with strategic partnership, working cross-functionally to design and implement solutions that improve responsiveness, resiliency, and sustainability within the materials supply chain.

What You’ll Work On
Business Execution & Operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to provide clear, timely material availability insights
- Analyze material demand and execute mitigation strategies to ensure on-time production
- Lead apparel excess management processes and footwear lead-time exception resolution
- Drive data-based decision making to manage supply risks and opportunities
- Represent Materials Planning as a subject matter expert
Strategy & Capability Building
- Partner with Materials Planning leadership to develop strategies that improve supply chain responsiveness and flexibility
- Identify opportunities to enhance analytics, reporting, and systems in partnership with Technology & Analytics teams
- Support the evolution of tools, processes, and workflows to enable future-state materials planning capabilities

Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (3–5 years preferred) in supply chain, materials planning, demand/supply planning, manufacturing, or logistics
- Working knowledge of Materials Requirements Planning (MRP), demand planning, production, and capacity management
- Ability to interpret key supply chain metrics and implement corrective actions
- Experience with analytics, reporting, data cleansing, and data mining (AI-enabled tools a plus)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage timelines and clearly communicate deadlines to stakeholders
- Effective written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Results-driven mindset with strong prioritization skills
