Looking for a Digital Designer for a short-term freelance assignment supporting a fast-paced brand design team. This role is ideal for someone who knows how to work within brand guidelines while also pushing creative in smart, strategic ways across digital channels.
You’ll partner with cross-functional teams across marketing, ecommerce, social, product, and creative to develop compelling design work that drives engagement and supports broader business goals. The right person brings a strong eye for visual storytelling, understands responsive design and UX, and can create polished assets across web, email, social, mobile, and other digital touchpoints.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Create digital assets for email, landing pages, banners, social, mobile, and tablet.
- Translate creative strategy into effective, high-impact design across digital and occasional print projects.
- Help maintain and evolve brand consistency across customer-facing materials.
- Partner with creative, copy, development, ecommerce, and marketing teams to bring campaigns to life.
- Support concepting, pre-production planning, photography direction, and video or animation direction.
- Ensure quality, consistency, and accuracy across creative deliverables.
What We’re Looking For
- 5–7 years of digital design, art direction, or related creative experience.
- Strong portfolio spanning digital design, social creative, and web/UX work.
- Experience building brand-forward creative for consumer products or lifestyle brands is a plus.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
- Working knowledge of HTML and familiarity with video or animation tools such as After Effects.
- Strong understanding of responsive design, user experience, and digital production.
- Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment while managing multiple priorities.
Additional Details
- Freelance, 40hrs per week, estimated duration: 2–3 months
- Location: Van Nuys, CA. Onsite 3 days a week
