THE ROLE:
The Onboarding Support Coordinator ensures adherence to federal employment eligibility requirements through accurate and timely completion of I-9 documentation. This role is critical in onboarding new Employer of Record (EOR) and Agency with Choice (AWC) providers, maintaining compliance documentation, and collaborating cross-functionally with Operations and Compliance teams. The position blends administrative precision with a welcoming, provider-facing experience to support a compliant and effective onboarding process.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Verify employment eligibility through accurate completion and review of Form I-9 and virtual identity verification.
Create E-Verify cases and upload supporting documentation into the payroll system and digital I-9 binder.
Provide onboarding support and welcome new EOR/AWC providers by reviewing role expectations and resources.
Track and complete reverification for expiring identification documents.
Notify relevant teams of required terminations due to incomplete I-9s and coordinate eligible rehires.
Partner with the Compliance team to support internal audits of I-9 documentation.
Maintain close collaboration with Operations teams and respond to questions related to onboarding or compliance.
This is a hybrid position, coming into the El Segundo office 1x per quarter.
This is a temporary, 90 day position.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
QUALIFICATIONS
1–2 years of customer service or administrative experience
Familiarity with Form I-9, E-Verify, or onboarding/compliance documentation
Interest in talent acquisition, HR, or regulatory compliance
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines
SKILLS
- Spanish Fluency required

Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
Collaborative and flexible in a cross-functional environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital file systems
