Abatement Testing Services is seeking a reliable, licensed Asbestos & Lead Sampling Technician to join our team in Seattle. This role involves collecting environmental samples for asbestos and lead in residential and commercial properties. You’ll play a vital part in supporting safe, compliant abatement projects by pulling accurate field samples for lab analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform asbestos and lead sampling in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Properly document chain of custody and field notes
- Safely collect samples from walls, ceilings, floors, soil, or air as needed
- Follow all OSHA and EPA guidelines for PPE and sample handling
- Coordinate with project managers and lab staff for timely reporting
- Ensure job site safety and professionalism at all times
Requirements:
- Current Hawaii state asbestos and lead sampling certification
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Attention to detail and strong documentation skills
- Ability to work independently in the field
- Experience preferred, but we’re open to newer technicians with the proper licenses
Compensation: $4,500.00 - $6,000.00 per month
