Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated, punctual, and detail-oriented Mitigation Technician to join our dynamic restoration team. In this vital role, you will respond swiftly to emergency situations involving water, fire, mold, or other property damages. Duties
- Respond promptly to emergency calls for water, fire, mold, and flood damage restoration projects.
- Perform cleaning and debris removal using appropriate tools and techniques to prepare sites for restoration.
- Conduct water extraction, demolition, drying, and dehumidification processes utilizing specialized equipment.
- Assist with mold remediation efforts following industry standards to ensure safe and effective removal.
- Apply respiratory protection and other safety measures diligently during all mitigation activities.
Requirements
- Prior experience in the restoration industry or related fields.
- Knowledge of emergency response readiness protocols and safety procedures.
- Familiarity with Xactimate or similar estimating software is a plus.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment efficiently and safely.
- Strong understanding of water damage restoration, flood cleanup, and mold remediation processes.
- Experience with lead abatement procedures is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude toward safety and customer service are essential.
- Ability to work on short notice calls such as after hours and weekends.
