Pickleball Site Manager
The Pickleball Site Manager will be responsible for providing overall management and leadership for club pickleball programming, including but not limited to, open play, clinics, leagues, tournaments, and events. He or she will promote pickleball offerings through member engagement and handle administrative tasks related to programming, such as scheduling, billing, and communication. The manager will also be responsible for recruiting, and managing our member service associates, and pickleball coaches.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Develops, sells, and teaches safe, professional, and exciting revenue-generating on-court programs.
- Interacts with members through non-revenue producing activity and off-court program promotion (i.e. Open Play and Intro to Pickleball, information tables, coordinates marketing materials, member communication, etc.)
- Provides administrative oversight of the facility’s pickleball programming, including managing the scheduling of programs.
- Will provide supervision to club pickleball staff, including working with the General Manager to scout and interview new pickleball team members, ensuring the completion of their training and on boarding.
Position Requirements
- Thorough knowledge of the game of pickleball
- Experience teaching pickleball
- Pickleball teaching certification is required within six months of hire.
- Excellent customer service skills, friendly, outgoing, and positive attitude
- Experience planning and executing events
- Comfortable working with all age groups and building positive relationships with members and team members
- Excellent communication, time management, and organization skills
- CPR and AED Certified or ability to be certified within 3 months of hiring.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred Requirements
- International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association (IPTPA), and/or Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR), and/or United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
