Day (United States of America)Job Summary:
Serves as the primary representative for the Food and Nutrition team at Augusta University Medical Center. Primarily responsible for successfully completing all assigned patient interviews, patient complaint visits and other duties to support the program as needed. Assists in quality monitors to assure excellence in patient food service. In addition, serves as a liaison to registered dietitians/technicians and nursing staff to anticipate/fulfill patient food service/nutritional needs.
Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
Completes meal rounds for of the weekly census. Meal rounds are completed to ensure quality meals are prepared and served to patients. Furthermore, they ensure all Food and Nutrition employees provide excellent customer service. Meal rounds are documented in the appropriate computer system and results will be discussed with the Patient Services Manager regularly.
Responds to unsatisfied patients in a timely manner. Attempts to resolve any issues stated and works with other Food and Nutrition employees to settle these issues.
Responsible for maintaining and updating department visual aids throughout kitchen (i.e. display boards reporting patient satisfaction scores, successes of department, etc.).
Responsible for documenting and filing all Patient Services initiatives like tray assessments, host audits, tray line accuracy audits, tray line audits, etc.
Assists Hospitality Specialists if needed.
Performs other duties as assigned
Complies with all Wellstar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.
Required Minimum Education:
High School Diploma General or GED General
Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s):
All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.
Additional License(s) and Certification(s):
Required Minimum Experience:
Minimum 2 years diet office, healthcare related field, customer service or food service. Required
