Job Description:
- Assessing and treating persons with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
- Planning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitative programs.
- Recommending and assisting in obtaining other services as deemed necessary.
- May need to perform special education assessments and present findings to a Committee on Special Education.
- May select and recommend alternative communication systems and teach their use.
- May perform research related to speech and language problems and present results of such research.
- The successful candidate must possess a valid degree and required New York State license.
