Job Description:
- The PC Bench Tech will be responsible for working with a variety of different technology that comes through our warehouse. The PC Bench tech will troubleshoot and repair computers, laptops and various other technology that come through our warehouse.
- HS Diploma or GED required.
- Basic understanding of computer components required; Professional experience troubleshooting and repairing computers is a PLUS, but not required.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in a team environment to meet requirements for production and quality.
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to stay organized and desire to solve problems efficiently.
- Knowledge of electronic parts, understanding, and sourcing
- Knowledge of All-In One computers is helpful
- Ability to lift up to 30-50 Ibs.
- Testing, updating, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing high volumes of hardware.
- Removing/adding RAM
- Take stock and inventory of hardware and parts.
- Navigate the BIOS on all laptop and desktop computers.
- Inventory control and quality control
- Providing documentation
- Other duties as assigned.
