Licensed Practical Nurse (Level I & II)

Duration: 6-12 months with option to extend (not to exceed 12 months total)

Shift: 6 pm - 6 am (Sunday - Tuesday)

Key Responsibilities

LPN – Level I

• Perform routine nursing duties under close supervision of an RN, physician, or dentist.
• Provide basic nursing care and monitor patient health status.
• Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Assist with patient assessments and care plans.
• Document nursing care and report changes in patient condition.
• Follow facility policies, procedures, and nursing standards.

LPN – Level II

• Perform the full range of practical nursing duties at the full-performance level.
• Provide patient care independently within the scope of LPN licensure and facility procedures.
• Assess and monitor patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Participate in developing and implementing patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
• Report significant changes in patient condition to the appropriate healthcare professional.
• Provide guidance and training to staff performing routine nursing tasks.

Mandatory Requirements

• LPN license
• BLS/CPR
