What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer/Material Handler 4 position at 22nd Century Technologies Inc. (TSCTI)?
Duration: 6 Months
Job Description:
- Manager MAY choose to interview
- Training will be on 1st shift before moving to 2nd or weekend
- Minimum training is 1 week, max 2 weeks
- Receive, stock, issue parts in bulk area and/or by operating automated carousel.
- Verify items quantity and condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by utilizing bar codes and computerized inventory systems.
- Prepare, package and ship products/parts per specified procedures.
- Pick up and deliver items, internal and external to facility.
- Cycle count inventory items.
- Perform stock transaction via computerized inventory system.
- Position demands constant standing, frequent lifting of up to 25 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Read and comprehend simple oral and written instructions.
- Knowledge of computers and basic data entry skills.
- Candidate will be working in a shipping/receiving warehouse.
- Duties will include unloading trucks and unpacking boxes, pulling stockroom materials.
Required:
- Requires valid FL state driver's license.
- HS diploma or GED -must be verified through Accurate Information Systems
- A candidate with lots of energy
- Ability to consistently lift 25 pounds, and can lift to 50 pounds
- MUST be able to stand 8 hours/day
- Ability to operate a computer: there will be simple SAP entries for this position (SAP experience is NOT required)
