Duties
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents, and unload freight using equipment such as pallet jacks and reach trucks
- Stock shelves accurately using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to ensure inventory integrity
- Pick and pack orders with precision, utilizing order pickers and barcode scanning tools for accuracy
- Prepare shipments by labeling, packaging, and coordinating with shipping carriers to meet delivery deadlines
- Operate forklifts and reach trucks safely to move goods within the warehouse, adhering to trade compliance and safety standards
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements in ERP systems like AS400 or MRP platforms
- Conduct regular stock counts, organize storage areas, and ensure compliance with international trade regulations and shipping logistics standards
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, including shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, and stock management
- Certification in forklift operation, reach truck, or pallet jack handling preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP platforms (such as AS400), and RF scanners for efficient inventory control
- Strong understanding of shipping logistics, trade compliance, and international trade regulations
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order processing
- Skilled in picking & packing techniques suitable for e-commerce fulfillment environments
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in order picking, packaging, and load & unload tasks
