We’re looking for a Funding Specialist to play a critical role in the final stages of the lending process. In this position, you’ll review approved loan packages, verify compliance with documentation requirements, and coordinate with internal and external parties to ensure accurate and timely disbursement of funds
Responsibilities:
- Prepare File for Funding
- Check all title requirements and recordable documents for validity and insurability
- Release and/or set up wires for disbursement and printing checks
- Report any discrepancies, issues, shortages, or funding errors immediately
- Mail out payments, scan documents, follow up on tax payments, handle remittance corrections
- Maintain correspondence with clients and borrowers for corrections/trailing documents if needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Title and/or mortgage exp required
- Excellent communication skills
- Detailed oriented
- Must be able to meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
