What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deputy Court Clerk position at 21st District Court?
Under the general supervision of the Court Administrator, responsibilities include performing a variety of tasks involved in the processing of civil/small claims/landlord tenant cases and/or criminal/traffic cases along with other clerical duties. This position also provides counter support which includes receiving/receipting money and providing assistance on matters to attorneys, law enforcement officers, and the public. - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Pass a criminal background check.
- Prior clerical experience in a court or law office preferred.
- Computer literate, including knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of JIS (Judicial Information System) preferred.
- Pass testing requirements to be a certified LEIN (Law Enforcement Information Network) operator within 6 months of employment and recertify as applicable.
- Possess good organizational, filing, verbal and writing skills.
- Possess attention to detail and accuracy in work performance.
Pay: $26.35 per hour

- Cash register: 1 year (Preferred)
