Reports To: Cocktail Terrace Manager, Food & Beverage Director

Profile: The Cocktail Terrace Bartender provides timely, accurate, and friendly service while preparing the highest quality beverages for each guest.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Follows all steps of service.
• Provides superior service behind the bar by preparing drinks according to recipe standards.
• Knows drink names, ingredients, method of preparation, appropriate glassware, and garnishes.
• Knows all menu descriptions for food and beverage menu.
• Ensures all stock is up to par.
• Provides prompt, accurate report of all income receives during shift.
• Sells beverages responsibly with customer's best interest in mind.
• Completes daily inventory and informs servers, managers, and bar backs of any changes.
• Maintain smooth flow of service.
• Completes all sidework as outlined in manual.
• Reports to work on time and ready to work scheduled shift.
• Maintains a positive, friendly attitude with coworkers and guests.
• Maintains a clean, orderly appearance of the bar area.
• Assists with and executes any and all tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to work flexible hours (nights, weekends).
• Responsible, dependable, punctual, and adaptable.
• Strong communication skills; must be able to speak, read, and understand English.
• Clean and professional appearance.
• Demonstrates enthusiasm for all things 21c.
• Exhibits strong beverage knowledge.
• Must pass a background check.

Education & Formal Training:

• High school or equivalent education required.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Requires lifting of up to 50 lbs.
• Exposure to outside elements.
