# # Position Summary Under supervision and in accordance with established schedules, procedures and safety standards, performs housekeeping and service duties necessary to maintain the hospital#s patient, non-patient and public areas in an orderly, safe, sanitary and attractive condition. # Job Responsibilities Empty, clean and reline waste baskets. Maintains a clean, safe and sanitary assigned work area at all times. Scours and polishes sinks, tubs, mirrors and commodes. Assists in soiled linen pick-up. Use microfiber and vacuum cleaner and or damp dusting ceilings, walls, vents, drapery rods etc. and all high touch surfaces. # Education/Experience High School Diploma preferred. Relevant experience is preferred but not required.
