Duties
- Lead high-energy group fitness classes such as Kickboxing, Cycling, Yoga, Pilates, CrossFit, and dance-based workouts, ensuring safety and proper technique.
- Design innovative and effective workout programs tailored to different skill levels and fitness objectives.
- Demonstrate correct body mechanics and physiology principles to maximize results and prevent injuries.
- Engage participants with motivating cues, clear instructions, and positive reinforcement throughout each session.
- Maintain a clean, organized workout space and ensure all equipment is used safely and appropriately.
- Promote upcoming classes, memberships, personal training sessions, and fitness programs to enhance member engagement and retention.
- Stay current with the latest fitness trends, certifications, and industry best practices to continually improve class offerings.
Requirements
- Proven experience in group fitness instruction with certifications in areas such as Yoga, Pilates, CrossFit, or cycling.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, body mechanics, and health sciences relevant to fitness training.
- Skilled in program design for diverse populations with varying fitness levels.
- Excellent teaching skills with the ability to motivate and energize participants of all backgrounds.
- Familiarity with gym equipment usage including cycling bikes, mats, weights, and cardio machines.
- Passion for promoting health club environments that emphasize safety, inclusivity, and fun.
