208 Dental is a privately owned, family-operated dental practice committed to providing exceptional dentistry and an outstanding patient experience. As our practice continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Dental Financial & Patient Care Coordinator to join our team.
This is not an entry-level position. We're looking for someone with a strong background in dental front office operations who can confidently manage insurance verification, treatment estimates, financial arrangements, and patient communication while helping create a seamless experience for every patient.

Schedule: 37 hours per week
Monday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
(lunch is 12:30pm-1:30pm)

Responsibilities
- Verify PPO dental insurance benefits and eligibility
- Prepare accurate treatment estimates and financial arrangements
- Present treatment plans and financial options with confidence and professionalism
- Collect patient payments and coordinate financing options
- Answer patient questions regarding insurance and treatment costs
- Manage recall, unscheduled treatment, and patient follow-up
- Help maintain an efficient, productive schedule
- Coordinate with doctors and clinical team to ensure excellent patient care
- Deliver an exceptional patient experience from scheduling through checkout
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of dental front office experience
- Strong Open Dental experience is required
- Experience verifying PPO dental insurance
- Experience preparing treatment estimates and financial arrangements
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and common dental procedures
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
Preferred
- Experience presenting treatment plans
- Experience with patient financing and payment plans
- Experience working in a busy general dentistry practice
