Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. What You'll Need: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Previous medical experience in cast and splint application and removal preferred. What You'll Do: Applies and removes casts and splints according to guidelines. Maintains cast room inventory and supplies. Prepares work area to include casting and splinting materials; keeps the cast room in state of functional readiness. Records and maintains information according to procedures for accurate and up-to-date departmental records. Completes patient encounter form indicating service performed. Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
