What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Psychologist Intern position at 2025-26 Applicant Pool?
- Participation is multi-disciplinary school based teams
- Consulting with RtI teams and assisting with the development of appropriate intervention strategies and progress monitoring of struggling students
- Administering and interpreting psychological assessments for diagnostic and disability identification purposes
- Providing mental health support through individual and group counseling programs
- Providing consultation to parents and school staff
- Supporting students, families, and school staff during crisis situations
- Promoting safe learning environments by participating on Crisis and Treat Assessment Teams
- Fostering relationships with student focused community agencies
- Participating in departmental meetings and projects
- Attending as well as developing and presenting professional development programs
Candidates must be nearing completion of a recognized graduate program in school psychology.
NOTE: This intern position does not include any benefits (medical, dental, vision, or retirement), and is paid at a flat rate of $25,000.00 for the year, evenly distributed in 20 equal installments beginning at the end of August and continuing through mid-June.
