General Responsibility:
- Answers and process incoming telephone calls and welcomes visitors.
- Answers questions about 20/20 and provides callers with address, directions, and other information.
- Receives, sorts, and routes mail. Processes mailing of overnight packages and distributes time-sensitive material like confidential, urgent packages.
- Maintains fax machines, assists users, sends faxes, and retrieves and routes incoming faxes.
- Performs other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, sorting, and miscellaneous administrative support.
- Interpersonal
skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management.
Skills
and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required, AA/BA Degree preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish Strongly preferred.
- 1-2 years of reception experience, preferably knowledge in construction practices and procedures
- Excellent communication skills required, both written and verbal
- Detail oriented ability to prioritize with strong organization skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Uses independent judgment and discretion in prioritizing and managing situations.
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs.
Physical Requirements:
The position of Receptionist requires that
you are able to lift objects that weigh up to 15 pounds, squat, kneel, twist, bend,
and work above head and below waist. Ability
to sit for long periods, stand, walk, climb stairs and use of hands, fingers,
wrists, and arms.
Salary : $18 - $22
