Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender/Server, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing bar inventory, serving tables, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware and equipment.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Process cash transactions accurately using the Toast POS system and handle cash register duties efficiently.
- Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and manage stock rotation.
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to ensure compliance with health standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service and address customer needs promptly.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills during peak hours to maintain service quality.
Experience
- At least two years’ previous experience in bartending or a related role within the food industry is required.
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and retail math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of food handling practices is essential for maintaining safety standards.
