Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and identify their needs.
- Provide advice on how inventory fits and suggest flattering cuts and complimentary colors.
- Assist customers with selecting products such as dresses, skirts, blouses, sweaters, scarves, earrings, necklaces and so much more.
- Operate the cash register efficiently for sales transactions including cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure an attractive shopping environment.
- Support inventory management by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and ensuring product availability.
- Communicate effectively via phone or in person to answer customer inquiries and provide product recommendations.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills by managing multiple tasks such as cashiering, merchandising, and customer service seamlessly.
Experience
- Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for fashion is essential.
- Familiarity with cash registers, cash handling procedures, and general math enhances your effectiveness in this role.
- Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—are vital for engaging customers and collaborating with team members.
