This is a full-time on-site role for an Ophthalmic Technician located in Indianapolis, IN. The Ophthalmic Technician will assist the ophthalmology team by conducting diagnostic tests, performing fundus photography, and scribing during patient consultations. Key responsibilities include supporting the delivery of high-quality eye care services, documenting patient information accurately, and aiding in specialized procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Experience in Optometry and Ophthalmology
- Proficiency in Scribe duties to document patient information accurately and efficiently
- Skill in performing Fundus Photography as part of diagnostic procedures
- Basic understanding of Medicine, particularly in the context of eye care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide excellent patient care
- Great attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Certification as a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) or similar qualification is a plus
