Position Overview
20/15 Visioneers is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Radiochemist Intern to join our team for the Summer 2026 term. This internship offers hands-on experience in radiochemical processes, laboratory information management, and radiation safety within a dynamic research and development environment. The successful candidate will contribute meaningfully to ongoing projects while developing practical skills in the field of radiochemistry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the execution and optimization of radiochemical processes and informatics workflows.
- Support the development and maintenance of Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN) and Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) templates and workflows.
- Investigate current radiation safety standards and contribute to the development and implementation of radiation safety protocols for research and development activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing radiochemistry projects and initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and thorough laboratory records in compliance with applicable safety and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
Required:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program in Chemistry, Nuclear Chemistry, Radiopharmaceutical Sciences, or a closely related discipline.
- Familiarity with basic to advanced laboratory techniques and established safety procedures.
- Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
- Demonstrated eagerness to learn and grow within the field of radiochemistry.
Preferred:
- Prior laboratory experience or coursework in radiochemistry, nuclear science, or related areas.
- Exposure to ELN or LIMS platforms.
- Basic understanding of radiation safety regulations and best practices.
