2 Rivers Services LLC is a growing local property services company specializing in Airbnb and short-term rental cleaning and property support.

We are looking for reliable, hardworking Airbnb Cleaners to join our growing team. We clean a variety of short-term rental properties throughout the Shenandoah Valley, ranging from smaller cabins and apartments to large vacation homes.

Our goal is simple: every guest should walk into a property that feels spotless, fresh, organized, and ready for their stay.

Job Summary

As an Airbnb Cleaner, you will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning and preparing short-term rental properties between guests.

This position requires someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, efficient, and takes pride in their work.

You will be expected to follow our cleaning standards and checklists while making sure the property is fully guest-ready before leaving.

Responsibilities

• Complete Airbnb/short-term rental turnovers
• Clean and disinfect kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living spaces, and common areas
• Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
• Clean appliances and kitchen surfaces
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms
• Change and make beds according to company standards
• Fold and organize towels and linens as needed
• Restock guest supplies
• Empty trash and replace liners
• Clean and check outdoor areas when included in the property’s cleaning requirements
• Check for damage, maintenance issues, missing items, or excessive messes
• Report problems immediately to management
• Take required photos after completing the cleaning
• Follow property-specific instructions
• Complete cleaning checklists through our scheduling/cleaning management system
• Make sure the home is properly staged and guest-ready before leaving
• Communicate with management regarding any issues or concerns

Quality Standards

We specialize in high-quality Airbnb turnovers, and attention to detail is extremely important.

Cleaners are expected to:

• Look beyond the obvious
• Check corners, floors, surfaces, and frequently missed areas
• Make sure bathrooms are spotless
• Make beds neatly and consistently
• Ensure kitchens are clean and organized
• Check that supplies are properly stocked
• Make sure furniture and décor are returned to their proper locations
• Report anything unusual or damaged
• Complete required photos and quality checks

Our cleaners are the final set of eyes on a property before the next guest arrives.

Qualifications

Required:

• Previous cleaning experience preferred
• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong attention to detail
• Dependable and punctual
• Able to work independently
• Able to follow detailed instructions and checklists
• Good communication skills
• Comfortable using a smartphone
• Able to work efficiently while maintaining quality
• Willing to work weekends as needed
• Able to travel to different properties throughout the Shenandoah Valley

Preferred:

• Airbnb cleaning experience
• Housekeeping experience
• Hotel or hospitality experience
• Vacation rental experience
• Property management experience
• Experience using Breezeway or similar cleaning/scheduling software

Schedule

Our cleaning schedule is based around Airbnb guest check-outs and check-ins.

Most turnovers take place during the daytime.

Availability needed:

• Weekdays
• Weekends as needed
• Flexible availability is a major plus
• Busy-season availability is especially important

Our busiest days can vary based on occupancy and reservations, so cleaners should be comfortable with a schedule that can change from week to week.

Compensation

Pay is based on the property, size, cleaning requirements, and experience.

Cleaners are expected to provide their own reliable vacuum and mop unless otherwise specified for a property.

Physical Requirements

This is a physically active position.

You must be able to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Bend, kneel, reach, and climb stairs
• Lift and carry cleaning supplies and laundry
• Make beds and clean bathrooms
• Move light furniture when necessary
• Work efficiently for several hours at a time
• Work in a variety of property types and environments
