Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks
- Load and unload freight efficiently.
- Follow designated routes, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, checking for mechanical issues or safety hazards.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site managers, and team members regarding schedules or delivery updates.
- Assist with loading materials onto trucks for delivery, ensuring proper securing of loads.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL Class A) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience operating dump trucks, tractor-trailers, or similar heavy-duty vehicles.
- Knowledge of manual transmission operation and truck driving best practices.
- Ability to load & unload freight efficiently.
- Familiarity with route driving, traffic regulations, and safety protocols for commercial driving.
