Pay: $30–$33 per hour
Incentives: Up to $1,200/month in gross profit bonus payouts
Job Overview
We are seeking a sales-driven Business Development & Store Manager to lead both the commercial growth and operational success of our warehouse location. This role is responsible for driving revenue, developing new business relationships, growing existing accounts, and managing daily store and warehouse operations.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong sales instincts, capable of identifying new opportunities, coaching staff on sales performance, and delivering exceptional customer experiences while ensuring efficient warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales Leadership
• Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities within the local market.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, fabricators, manufacturers, and commercial customers.
• Manage and grow existing customer accounts to increase revenue and repeat business.
• Track and drive sales performance, store margins, and monthly revenue goals.
• Coach and lead the team on sales strategies, upselling opportunities, and customer engagement.
• Monitor sales activity, pipeline opportunities, and business development efforts.
Store & Operations Management
• Oversee daily warehouse and retail store operations, including staff supervision and scheduling.
• Ensure efficient order fulfillment, inventory handling, and customer service operations.
• Pull, process, and complete customer orders using saws and other equipment as required.
• Safely load and unload metal materials from trucks.
• Operate forklifts, chop saws, and other warehouse equipment when needed.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
Customer Relationship Management
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and key accounts.
• Communicate with customers daily to ensure timely service, satisfaction, and repeat business.
• Resolve customer concerns and identify opportunities to expand services or product offerings.
Required Experience & Skills
• Business development and sales management experience required.
• Proven ability to grow revenue and build long-term client relationships.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and driving sales performance.
• Comfortable using ERP systems, POS systems, and Microsoft Office software.
• Ability to read tape measures accurately.
• Experience handling metal, construction materials, or industrial products is a plus.
• Ability to lift 50–60 lbs daily.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
