What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapy Tech/Aide position at 1st Step Rehab?
Are you looking for a great job at a locally owned small business where you can be a part of a team? WE WANT YOU! Physical therapy techs often do tasks that are indirectly related to patient care. We prefer the right candidate to have some medical clinic experience and great communication skills, but we are willing to take the time to train the right person if you can commit to the job. We need someone to be able to adapt, be dependable and pivot when the job requires.
Physical therapist techs typically do the following: * Clean treatment areas and set up therapy equipment * Wash linens * Help patients move to or from a therapy area * Assist PT/PTA * Do clerical tasks as needed, such as answering phones, schedule patients, take copays etc. Physical therapist techs work under the direct supervision of a physical therapist, physical therapist assistant and/or office manager. This position also requires helping to market our clinic, which includes taking photos/videos for social media, dropping off materials to local physician practices etc. This is a physical job so some light lifting and tugging is required. Benefits available after 90 day period.
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
