POSITION SUMMARY:The IT Auditor is responsible for assisting in the planning, execution, and reporting of outsourced and internal IT audits across the organization’s technology environment and IT SOX work. This role leads planning and fieldwork for assigned audits, coordinates with business and IT stakeholders, ensures that audit work meets professional and internal quality standards, assists in the drafting of audit issues and performs remediation validation. The IT Auditor serves as a subject‑matter resource to Internal Audit. Provide WOW experience for our internal and external customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:- Conduct Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and manage outsource IT operational audits, including planning, scoping, and executing audit procedures in accordance with established guidelines and standards.
- Evaluate and test ITGCs, application controls, and business-related access controls to assess their effectiveness and identify potential risks.
- Review IT processes and systems to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with business units and IT teams to identify control gaps and recommend improvements. Assist in providing recommendations and guidance on control enhancements to mitigate identified risks.
- Work closely with external auditors during the audit process, providing requested documentation and addressing findings or recommendations.
- To enhance audit effectiveness, stay informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes.
- Prepare audit reports and communicate findings, recommendations, and action plans to management.
- Assist in developing and implementing remediation plans for identified control deficiencies. Fosters strong working relationships with stakeholders, promoting effective communication and collaboration. Prepare audit work papers and reports that adhere to IIA standards and internal audit methodology to document the audit work performed and any internal control issues identified during the audit. Possess high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information[1]Maintain proficient knowledge of the rules and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), USA Patriot Act, OFAC, Regulation E, Truth in Savings Act, Unfair, Deceptive or Abusive Acts or Practices (UDAAP), FACTA, Reg Z-Truth in Lending, Reg B-Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act. Responds to internal control and operational questions from Bank personnel. Partner with IT operations, information security, and business stakeholders to communicate audit results and support resolution plans. - Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance or equivalent related experience of at least 3-5 years’ experience in IT Auditing within the financial industry.
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework preferred and Information Security concepts and principles.
- This role will require thorough understanding of internal controls, COSO framework and accounting principles.
- Must be bondable.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office Products and willing and able to learn other software.

Salary Range: $33.65 - $43.27
