Pest Management Technician: Full-time position with the possibility of production bonuses during peak seasons. Benefits include paid vacation and 401K benefits available after the first year. We are searching for a candidate that is energetic, hardworking, and interested in long-term growth potential. Also, we are looking for a candidate that is willing and able to provide first-class customer service in accordance with our very high standards. Prior experience in Pest Control is preferred, but not required. No formal experience is required. We are willing to train the right person.

Responsibilities

Must maintain thorough knowledge of common practices, tools, and terminology used in the pest control industry.

Must maintain thorough knowledge of all applicable laws, rules, and regulations governing the pest control industry and pesticide application.

Must maintain thorough knowledge of the use and characteristics of pesticides.

Must maintain thorough knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions associated with pest management services.

Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Must complete workorders, maintain business records, and collect money from customers.

Requirements

Must be willing and able to inspect commercial and residential properties, determine pest problems, and implement the most effective solutions.

Must be willing and able to provide pest management services to control ants, spiders, cockroaches, bed bugs, mice and rats, etc.

Must be willing and able to operate spraying equipment, bait guns, power foggers, propane heaters, fans, and various other power and hand tools used in the performance of duties.

Must be willing and able to learn about pest control products, application methods, and safety measures.

Must be willing and able to apply pesticide chemicals in accordance with established regulations and to read, understand, and follow chemical label instructions.

Must be willing and able to establish and maintain effective working relationships, and communicate with a diverse population.

Must be willing and able to operate a company vehicle safely.

Must be willing and able to walk, stand, squat, sit, bend, climb, carry, reach, push, pull, kneel, crawl, and go up and down stairs into basements, crawlspaces, and attics. Must be willing and able to climb a ladder. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. Must be willing and able to perform related work as may be required.

Must be willing and able to obtain a Pest Control Operator's License (after training).
