Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components.
- Service vehicles through oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and brake repairs to maintain safety and performance standards.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service equipment to execute repairs efficiently.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical problems effectively.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and ensuring satisfaction throughout the service process.
Skills
- Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance.
- ASE Certifications Needed A1, A4, A5, A6, A8
- Skilled automotive suspension system repair, and wheel alignment.
- Proficient in automotive diagnostics using modern scan tools and schematics for accurate troubleshooting.
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures including oil changes and mechanical systems repair.
- Experience working with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus; familiarity with auto estimating software is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills combined with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
