What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grounds Maintenance Technician position at 1ST LAKE PROPERTIES?
As a Grounds Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the exterior grounds of the apartment community are well-maintained and visually appealing. You’ll play an essential role in creating a clean, pleasant environment for our residents by performing various Grounds Maintenance duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Remove trash and debris from property grounds regularly to ensure the grounds are visually appealing at all times
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the pools on property (we will train you on proper pool care if needed)
- Maintain common areas by pressure washing exteriors and blowing leaves
- Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to management promptly
- Perform minor repairs to outdoor equipment and fixtures
- Adhere to all safety standards and operational procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous grounds maintenance experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to work independently and adhere to a schedule
- Ability to use a variety of equipment, such as blowers and pressure washers
