Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care to children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and school-aged kids, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and physical development
- Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, bathing, dressing, and nap schedules
- Support children's emotional well-being by offering reassurance, encouragement, and positive interaction
- Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to play and learning
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children’s progress, activities, and any concerns
- Administer basic first aid when necessary and follow safety protocols diligently
Requirements
- Proven experience in nannying, babysitting, daycare, or similar caregiving roles involving children with diverse needs
- Knowledge of child development principles for infants through preschool age
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly preferred
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with families and understand their expectations
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or specific family routines
