We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Manager to oversee and optimize inventory operations at our manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, managing raw materials and finished goods, ensuring timely stock replenishment, and supporting production planning through effective inventory control practices.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee all inventory-related activities, including receiving, storing, transferring, and issuing materials.
· Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy using ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or equivalent).
· Coordinate regular cycle counts and full physical inventories; investigate and reconcile discrepancies.
· Collaborate with purchasing, production, shipping, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless flow of materials.
· Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices to reduce waste, improve accuracy, and support lean manufacturing initiatives.
· Set and manage stock level targets, safety stock, and reorder points based on production forecasts and lead times.
· Ensure proper labeling, organization, and storage of materials in compliance with safety and quality standards.
· Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, turnover, aging, and KPIs for management.
· Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory and coordinate disposal or repurposing strategies.
· Support audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
· 3–5 years of inventory management experience in a manufacturing environment.
· Strong knowledge of inventory control principles, MRP systems, and warehouse operations.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
· Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to lead and motivate warehouse/inventory staff.
· Strong communication and cross-functional coordination abilities.
Preferred Skills:
· Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience.
· Forklift certification or understanding of material handling equipment.
· Familiarity with ISO or GMP compliance standards (if applicable).
Salary : $45,000 - $50,000
