The IT Maintenance Technician will provide essential support to the company’s technology infrastructure by handling routine IT maintenance tasks and assisting end users with technical issues. While this is an entry-level position, the ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in technology, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude.
Responsibilities:
· Respond promptly to user requests for technical assistance via phone, email, or in person.
· Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
· Assist with password resets, account lockouts, and user access management.
· Support Windows and/or macOS operating systems and common business applications such as Microsoft 365, Outlook, and Teams.
· Provide printer, mobile device, and basic network connectivity support.
· Escalate complex or unresolved issues to higher-level IT staff when needed.
· Document support activities, resolutions, and user interactions accurately.
· Perform routine IT maintenance and assist in maintaining network and equipment functionality.
Requirements:
· Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking fundamentals.
· Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and basic network troubleshooting.
· Experience with Active Directory user management.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and other standard desktop applications.
· Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
· Ability to work both independently and within a team.
· Integrity, accountability, and a strong customer service mindset.
· Must be willing to provide occasional after-hours support as needed.
· Ability to lift up to 25 lbs for equipment setup or replacement.
