PositionLoan Processor III (Full-Time)
Location: Sparta | 40 hours per week
In this role, you will support a wide range of loan operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a seamless experience for our members.
What You'll Do:
- Maintain and manage loan records, including onboarding new loans and processing paid files
- Provide support to members and staff by answering lending-related questions
- Handle phone inquiries and resolve routine issues with professionalism and care
- Process loan documentation, including UCC/lien filings, automatic payments, and coupon requests
- Research and resolve exceptions to ensure timely loan processing within service level standards
- Prepare and process consumer, mortgage, and business loan documentation from application through closing and post-closing
- Coordinate with third-party vendors for insurance, appraisals, and title services
- Audit loan files for accuracy and compliance
- Support mortgage disclosures, processing pipelines, and funding activities
- Maintain documentation for regulatory and year-end reporting (HMDA, 1099s, etc.)
- Assist with business loan reviews, financial analysis, and reporting
- 3–5 years of financial experience required
- Strong knowledge of lending processes preferred
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to delivering exceptional service and maintaining compliance
