Residential HVAC Technician

Founded in 2001, First Choice Pro Services provides professional electrical, plumbing, heating and air-conditioning services throughout the south Denver metro area. Our rapidly growing HVAC department is looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician who takes pride in accurate diagnostics, quality workmanship, and exceptional customer service.

We are not looking for an entry-level technician. The ideal candidate has proven residential HVAC service experience and can confidently diagnose, repair, maintain, and communicate solutions for a wide range of heating and cooling systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose residential heating and cooling system problems accurately and thoroughly
• Perform HVAC repairs, maintenance, and system evaluations
• Present repair and replacement options clearly and professionally
• Communicate findings and recommendations honestly with customers
• Complete detailed job summaries, estimates, photographs, and required documentation
• Maintain the assigned company vehicle, tools, equipment, and inventory
• Follow manufacturer specifications and all applicable local HVAC codes
• Provide a high level of customer service from arrival through job completion
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development
• Complete other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands-on residential HVAC service experience
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
• Ability to service and repair furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related equipment
• Proven ability to work independently and complete calls correctly
• Professional communication and customer-service skills
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
• Positive, dependable, and team-focused attitude
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Ability to commute to our Englewood, Colorado location

EPA certification and additional HVAC licenses or certifications are strongly preferred.
