Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Commercial Construction Supervisor to oversee commercial construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have strong construction knowledge, leadership experience, and the ability to manage crews, subcontractors, materials, schedules, and job-site operations.
This is a Direct Hire opportunity with the potential for long-term growth.
Responsibilities:
- Lead by example and oversee day-to-day construction activities
- Perform and supervise drywall and sheetrock work
- Oversee painting and finishing
- Perform and supervise structural and non-structural framing
- Oversee finish work including trim, cabinetry, and hardware
- Ensure projects meet quality and workmanship standards
Project Management:
- Supervise crews and subcontractors across multiple job sites
- Coordinate subcontractor schedules and project timelines
- Order and coordinate materials and deliveries
- Monitor project progress and maintain efficient workflow
- Identify and resolve issues that may affect project completion
- Ensure work complies with applicable building codes and safety standards
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in both residential and commercial construction
- Previous construction supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Strong understanding of construction processes and the sequence of multiple trades
- Ability to effectively manage crews and subcontractors
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Professional and dependable with the ability to represent the company positively on job sites
- Willingness to be hands-on and lead by example
Schedule:
Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
***Must be willing to work overtime as needed***
Starting at $25.00/hour, depending on experience.
This is a DIRECT HIRE position.
Pay: From $52,000.00 per year
