Duties
- Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues with vehicles, including mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles, utilizing both hand tools and power tools.
- Execute diesel engine repairs, powertrain services, and alignment adjustments as needed.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to effectively troubleshoot and repair automotive systems.
- Maintain accurate records of all services performed, including parts used and labor hours.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their vehicle's condition and necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the shop environment.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and automotive electrical systems.
- Engage in ongoing training to enhance skills in auto repair and other relevant areas.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair techniques.
- Proficient mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail when diagnosing issues.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
