RN Remote Phone Triage

Remote Pediatric RN Phone Triage – Part Time

We are seeking an experienced Remote Registered Nurse (RN) to provide phone triage services for medical practices caring for pediatric patients. This role requires every 4th weekend coverage and a set work schedule between the hours of 7:30a-6p PST.

Requirements:

• Active RN license, Compact (NLC) license required
• Active Oregon RN license required
• Minimum 2 years RN experience with phone triage or nurse advice line experience
• Epic EHR Experience required
• Demonstrated experience assessing pediatric patients using Schmitt-Thompson Protocols
• Excellent telephone assessment, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently using triage protocols and clinical judgment
• Reliable internet and HIPAA-compliant remote workspace

Responsibilities include: telephone-based clinical assessments, patient education, triage decision-making, appropriate escalation, and accurate documentation.
