What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Crew Member position at 1st Call Construction?
1st Call Construction is a small family owned general contractor that serves Colorado Springs and many of the surrounding areas. We are looking for a professional, experienced and driven construction worker that has experience running or working in crews and has the knowledge and ability to efficiently work on multiple types of construction jobs. From small residential roof repairs to commercial tenant finishes, we do a bit of everything. The ideal applicant will have experience in some or all of the following residential and commercial areas:
Building Decks, Framing (wood & metal), Drywall, Painting, Roofing, Concrete, Flooring, Siding, Tile, Window & Door installation, Minor Plumbing, Tool & Equipment Operation, Leadership, Attention to Detail and Craftsmanship.
- This position is a field role.
- The position will require not only the site work for the specific job but also to work alongside other crew members on the job while maintaining completion times and craftsmanship.
- This position will be responsible for maintaining all paperwork and receipts pertaining to the assigned crew and job site.
- This position may require teamwork with the sales and estimation staff on job specific solutions, materials and projected timelines to ensure proper and timely completion of jobs.
- This position has an opportunity for becoming a crew leader with pay raise after demonstrating abilities through a 90 day probationary period.
Pay: $19.00 - $30.00 per hour
