Title: Personal Banker I

Category: Part Time, Non-Exempt

Hours: 20-25 hours per week

Pay Range: $15.50 - $18.50 based on experience

The Part Time Personal Banker I will be trained for teller duties, serving walk-in and phone customers, fulfilling customer needs. Responsibilities range from cash handling and basic transactions, to referrals to other lines of business.

Job Duties include, but not limited to:

• Maintain a position of trust and responsibility by keeping all customer business confidential.
• Create a welcoming and friendly experience for all customers.
• Develop a rapport with the customer base, greet by/use name and display a caring attitude.
• Provide excellent customer care, promptly and efficiently, to customers regarding daily transactions, addressing inquiries, and problem resolution, in accordance with bank policies.
• Answers telephones, answers questions, and directs callers to proper Bank personnel.
• Accurately and efficiently process customer transactions.
• Reconcile cash and all other transactions each day.
• Maintain a well-developed working knowledge of the complete line of products and services offered to promote and make appropriate referrals.
• Listen for opportunities and refer to other areas of the Bank.
• Stay informed of job-related issues, bank promotions, changes in products, services, policies and procedures.
• Timely completion of all assigned training activities.
• Adhere to all Bank policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate sound judgement within established limits.
• Respect co-workers and management and contribute a positive work environment.

Physical Activity:

• The Part Time Personal Banker I in the course of performing this position spends time writing, typing, speaking, listening, lifting (up to 50 pounds), driving, seeing (such as close, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and adjusted focus), standing, sitting, walking, and reaching.

Work Environment:

• The work environment for this position is an inside office setting that is mostly clean and comfortable. There is some exposure to outside weather elements and minor annoyances such as noise, odors, drafts, etc. The Personal Banker I is free to move about at will.

Mental Demands:
