SOCIAL MEDIA ASSISTANT 

Job Description: 

Part-Time | Cincinnati, OH Remote

1N5 is seeking a creative, energetic, and highly organized Social Media Assistant to help grow our digital presence and advance our mission of mental wellness and suicide prevention.

We're looking for someone who understands social media culture, can identify emerging trends, and knows how to create engaging content that resonates across platforms. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling, comfortable on fast-moving social platforms, and content that educates, inspires, and drives engagement.

Working closely with the Social Media Manager, this individual will help expand 1N5's reach through compelling content, community engagement, email communications, and strategic digital storytelling.

$18–$22/hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Approximately 20 hours per week. Weekly in-person planning meetings are held on Tuesdays in Cincinnati, with remaining work completed remotely.

• Create and curate engaging content across TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, and more — staying true to 1N5's brand voice
• Write copy for social posts, newsletters, and email campaigns
• Manage guest blog contributions and publish/format content in WordPress with SEO best practices
• Support B2B marketing campaigns for our Workplace Solutions program, with a focus on LinkedIn
• Track and report monthly analytics using Google Analytics and platform insights
• Engage with our online community and respond to interactions promptly and with care
• Provide on-the-ground social media support at local fundraising events

• Strong written communication skills with the ability to write with empathy for diverse audiences
• Hands-on experience with TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube
• Proficiency in Canva and basic video editing (CapCut or similar)
• Comfort with data — you use analytics to inform decisions, not just report numbers
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Genuine passion for mental health and wellness
