Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team. The Business Development Representative will be responsible for increasing referrals, building strong community partnerships, and promoting our home care services to healthcare professionals, senior communities, and families. This role combines outreach, networking, and strategic marketing.
Duties
Build and maintain relationships with referral partners such as:
- Hospitals
- Skilled nursing facilities
- Assisted living and memory care communities
- Physicians, case managers, social workers
- Rehabilitation centers
- Conduct regular in-person visits, calls, and follow-ups with referral sources.
- Represent the agency at community events, health fairs, and senior resource meetings.
Reporting & Performance
- Maintain weekly/monthly reports of outreach activities and referral results.
- Meet referral and growth targets set by the agency.
- Provide feedback to leadership on market opportunities.
Qualifications
- Experience in home care, healthcare, senior services, or sales preferred.
- Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable with in-person visits and community engagement.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Professional demeanor and compassionate attitude aligned with senior care.
- Proven experience in B2B sales, inside sales, or technical sales roles.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
- Familiarity with a CRM software.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.

Compensation
- Compensation includes an hourly wage plus commission linked to the amount of new business generated.
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
