Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide personalized care and support to clients in their homes. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and report changes in clients' health status to family members or healthcare professionals.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Administer medication as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans.
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs, including accompanying clients to appointments.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Document care provided and any observations related to client health or behavior.
Skills
- Level II trauma center experience is preferred for handling complex medical situations.
- Knowledge of hospital medicine and emergency medicine is beneficial for providing comprehensive care.
- Experience in Level I Trauma Centers, PICU, OR, geriatrics, medical-surgical, inpatient, teaching hospitals, post-acute care, outpatient settings, clinic experience, and sub-acute care is highly valued.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently while demonstrating excellent judgment in caregiving situations.
