This is a full-time, one-year contract role focused on helping stand up the campaign’s intake, tracking, and coordination systems and ensuring land opportunities move smoothly through the process. The Land Acquisitions Manager works closely with the Director of Partnerships and Development, the BHI Land team, and other partners to manage land opportunity intake, review parcel information, coordinate next steps, and help refine the workflows that will guide the campaign as it gets off the ground. This role is well-suited for someone who is organized, collaborative, and comfortable working at the intersection of land, people, and systems—supporting both execution and continuous improvement during the campaign’s first year.

- Prepare clear summaries and materials to support internal review and decision-making
- Help coordinate weekly check-ins, track action items, and keep opportunities moving forward
- Maintain tracking tools, shared documents, templates, and intake materials
- Support communication between 1DROP staff, BHI partners, and external collaborators
- Identify ways to improve intake, assessment, and coordination processes as the campaign evolves
- Support reporting needs, including dashboards, updates, and grant documentation
Qualifications
- Experience in housing, land acquisition, real estate, planning, community development, or a related field
- Familiarity with land use and zoning basics, parcel research, or a willingness to learn quickly
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
- Clear, professional communication skills
- Comfort working with spreadsheets, CRM databases, tracking systems, and shared digital tools
- Interest in equity-centered housing and community-driven development
