Job Description
As an account manager, this role is a part of 1AB's digital team. Our goal is to provide our clients with a strategic approach to social media that is fueled by creativity and exceptional client understanding and service. In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Account/project management on select accounts and throughout the 1AB client portfolio, as needed
- Developing and maintaining editorial calendars for select accounts through planning, research and content creation
- Generating, editing, and publishing client content (original copy, images, etc.)
- Managing creative development in collaboration with designers, editors
- Monitoring and optimizing social media pages within each platform to continue to grow client audiences
- Moderating community engagement
- Continuously improving our client’s social presences by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
- Participating and contributing to brainstorming sessions
- Travel to client meetings, industry conferences, and medical events will be based on workload and client needs.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience
- 2-4 years of proven work experience in public relations, social media or as a digital media specialist
- Demonstrable experience with social media and social analytics tools knowledge (Background in paid social campaigns preferred, but not required)
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

- Comfort working remotely or in co-working space
- Excellent writing, editing, presentation and communication skills
- Self-starter, responsible, strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to be independent, yet team-oriented and collaborative

- Innovative, critical thinker who is easily adaptable and can bring to the table creative, out-of-the-box thinking and perspective
- Experience in life sciences preferred
Technical Skills
- Experience using LinkedIn and Twitter in a professional capacity (Experience in Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc. also welcome)
- Experience with content management systems or social media management platforms
- Experience running analytics reports and distilling insights
- Preferred familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, new media or related field required
