Duties
- Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning techniques.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies and handling ingredients as directed by kitchen staff.
- Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware and utensils are clean and ready for use.
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations, sinks, floors, and surrounding areas to ensure a safe and hygienic workspace.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to manage food handling procedures and uphold food safety standards.
- Sort and organize clean items for proper storage or immediate use in food service operations.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with sanitation guidelines.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential.
- Basic understanding of cleaning procedures, food handling practices, and sanitation standards.
